UMSON fall 2016 hopefuls ?

Hello all, I am planning to apply to UMSON in the fall 2016. I haven't seen a thread yet for other hopefuls and potential candidates. So I wanted to start one.

I was waitlisted for spring 2016 and then didnt get in. I applied to HCC accelerated program that starts in May. Hopefully UMSON gets back to me before I accept the spot at HCC

Actually Harford Community College. I forgot there is more than one HCC

Chinar, I don't think you should worry too much if you're still at Complete and Ready for Review. They're probably still going through applications and updating them before they are presented to the admissions committee. Stay positive!

It's interesting seeing the difference in mood between past threads and this one. Seems like people were freaking out more around this time before decisions came out in previous threads -- especially the Spring 2016 one that I was in haha. It helps though because we don't feed off of each other's nervousness and time goes by quicker .

There are LOTS of applicants at Complete and Ready for Review status. It really does not mean anything to applicants.

Hi Grey Lady!

I'm not sure if you know the answer to this or are allowed to disclose this information to us, but do you know if, due to UMSON accepting more BSN applicants compared to previous application cycles, the decisions release process is prolonged? I know you said before that many variables affect the admissions process, but I wondered if specifically the increased number of admits affected it.

I went on their website and the registration page, not the welcome page, for BSN and RN-to-BSN programs at Baltimore (not Shady Grove as of right now) has been updated for the Fall 2016 semester, so it looks like they're definitely getting things ready!

I am committee ready. I am not worry too much since I already got accept from Towson, but I still hope I can hear the decision soon so I can make choice. Just be patient
