Hello all, I am planning to apply to UMSON in the fall 2016. I haven't seen a thread yet for other hopefuls and potential candidates. So I wanted to start one.
It means that all your application materials are in order - you are not missing anything - and that you are set up to be voted on by the admissions committee. The next status change will be Provisional Admit - which means you are admitted but have prerequisite courses to finish, Admit Institution - which means you are admitted with all prerequisites done, Wait Listed - meaning you are qualified and if someone rejects our offer of admissions, you may be taken off the Wait List and made an offer, and finally Rejected Application.I noticed this on Monday as well! What does that mean?
I was waiting for Grey Lady to grace us with her presence !
Chinar37, I'm not sure there is too much of a difference between Complete and Ready for Review and Committee Ready? I remember someone who was Waitlisted for Fall 2015 remained at Complete and Ready for Review for the Spring 2016 cycle up until their status changed to Admit Institution.
I'm applying for the second time too as I was Waitlisted for Spring 2016. My status is still at Complete and Ready for Review as well.
Yeah, we're sticking together from the Spring 2016 thread I see :). I didn't apply to Towson but I did apply to Montgomery College's ADN program as a back up. Mostly due to travel distance. UMSON is my #1 choice, but either way, I want to start nursing school in the Fall. So if I get admitted to UMSON it would be INCREDIBLE, but if I'm not accepted and I get admitted to MC, then I'll just go for my ADN and then apply to UMSON's RN-BSN option once I finish the ADN program.
Thats what I am going to do. I got into HCC and got waitlisted from towson today. Hopefully UMSON works out for me, that is also my number 1 choice but I guess everything will happen for the best. I wonder when they will let out the decisions from UMSON. Last semester, It ended up taking some time.
I'm not sure when decisions will come out but according to past threads, people generally started hearing back mid-April?
I've learned from the last application cycle to not stress too much on when decisions are going to be released and just try to keep myself busy and just go with the flow. Last time I stressed myself out too much hehe.
