Hi,
A few of us were commenting on the 2018 page, so, I thought I would create a Fall 2019 page. I am applying for the AG-ACNP/CNS program.
Hi all,
Sorry to join this thread so late. I applied very late (mid April) to the Primary Care NP DNP Program at the Baltimore UMSON Campus. I found out last week I was accepted. Does anyone have any idea how reasonable it will be to work during the program (or at least the first year)? I am a nurse at UMMC and was planning on using the tuition reimbursement benefit for as long as possible. I have heard that the first year courses are primarily online, but wasn't sure if that had changed recently. Thank you and congrats to all of the accepted students!
@ALeahy1 if you do the part-time 4 or 5 year program, working is feasible as you start with online classes and no clinical. if you do the 3 year program, you start with in-person classes, then clinical so working is not advised. some people still work 1 day a week in the full time program, it's just much harder and you have less time to devote to school work or clinical preparation.
Hi all, I was waitlisted in February. I gave up since no one called and I didn't receive any accepted letter. Suddenly, two days ago I received a call from UMB stating I have been accepted to the BSN-DNP psych 5 year program. OMG I was shocked and happy at the same time. Please can anyone share information discussed at the orientation that took place on May 30th. Hope to see some of you.
@Chemiralins22I was waitlisted in February as well and I got the accepted two days ago. I am excited and will see you in the program.

I'm just creeping on this thread because I am currently waiting and hoping for an interview! Did you both accept your admission offers?
