UMSON BSN Fall 2022

Hi all,

Did anyone else apply to the UMSON BSN program for fall 2022? I'm (impatiently) waiting to hear back, and wondered if anyone else was in the same boat.

I applied for the Baltimore campus! But my stats are pretty low but I’m a freshman but it’s still not an excuse! Little worried

@amandaxox9 I also applied to Baltimore! Fingers crossed for us. A 77 on the TEAS is actually what I got as well. I think generally speaking and from what I've read on other forums of those who have been accepted, the high 70s is a solid score.

When I was waiting, I kept refreshing the admissions portal. Eventually a third tab was added, called decision history. On that page it said committee review (2/11) and then on 3/8 a provisional letter of acceptance was added. 

 

I had applied to Shady Grove, priority deadline.

Yeah I saw that too! I was hoping it was just because the priority dates have come and gone.  I can't imagine that they would just change the rules now and no longer have a priority group, but who knows.

Has anyone else been accepted into the BSN program for fall 2022 at the Baltimore campus? I would love to connect with other people and make a group chat :)

There are two ways to create a special area for your cohort, that are Terms-of-Service approved.

One is to create a facebook page.  This link is allowed to be posted.

The other is to create a "Club" within the site, by clicking on the Breakroom link (upper left-hand corner, in the yellow bar) and in the green area, click Start a Breakroom Club.

 Any other references or links posted are not TOS-approved, and will be removed.

My application still only says “completed” in the applicant portal. Is anyone else experiencing this??

same here! I have a feeling they won’t release decisions until later because of the deadline extension for the application but I’ve been checking constantly and nothing has updated since.

@Schiavsm @amandaxox9 yes, mine says that as well! Been checking like 4x a day LOL. I really hope they aren't going to take more time to go through apps. That would give us less time to prepare the rest of what we need to have done and then make arrangements for enrollment, etc. Website still says beginning April 1 so fingers crossed

For the priority deadline they said we would have decisions by early to mid-February. Mine didn't change from completed until February 11th. Got my decision on March 8th.  I guess what I'm trying to say is don't get your hopes up. It was really hard when they did not stick to their dates ?
