UMSON BSN Fall 2022

Hi all,

Did anyone else apply to the UMSON BSN program for fall 2022? I'm (impatiently) waiting to hear back, and wondered if anyone else was in the same boat.

 

Hi Everyone!

I submitted my application before the priority deadline for Shady Grove.  My portal has said committee review since Feb 11. 

Once "early to mid" February came and went, I emailed to ask for an update.  I heard from (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) by email on Feb 24th that everyone who submitted by the priority deadline would hear by March 7th, today. 

I have a friend who applied to Shady Grove for part-time and she was accepted on Feb 13th. 

Has anyone who applied to full-time gotten a decision yet?

I am planning on emailing for another update tomorrow if my portal still says committee review. 

I'm sure you all agree that it has been really tough not receiving a decision by when they said we would.  Hopefully, we hear soon.

I too submitted priority.  (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) emailed me on Friday that “decisions will be sent out by next week.”  Interesting you received a specific date. I can only imagine we will hear back this week. Fingers crossed!

I hope you all hear soon. Please let us know how it goes! I'm sure they've got a lot on their plates right now, but it is hard to wait.

The language on the website has changed a little bit. Here's the new copy:

March 1
Completed applications received after the deadline are reviewed on a space-available basis.

Rolling basis beginning in March

Admissions Decisions Announced

I applied for the 2022 semester at the Baltimore location. Overall GPA of 3.5, science GPA of 4.0, and TEAS of 77. I have some volunteer work and 5 years of military & leadership experience. Waiting to hear back!

Does anyone know when to hear back? UMD student here not on the pre-nursing track. Freshman with an associates degree in general studies from MC and had a 77% on the TEAS. Waiting to hear back!

@amandaxox9 Also waiting to hear back! Website says acceptances are issued on a rolling basis starting in April ? I've still been scouring my emails daily though LOL. What campus did you apply to?
