UMSON BSN FALL 2020

Hey Guys,

Just wondering if there are any students that applied to University of Maryland School of Nursing for the BSN program for Fall 2020. I see a thread for Spring 2020, but not one for Fall as of yet. If so, do you mind posting your grades/TEAS scores. Mine are listed below.

3.85 overall GPA

3.9 science GPA

TEAS: still waiting on my results (took it today)

I’m not to sure. However, I did call admissions a week ago and they told me to expect to hear something beginning of April.

Reading all these great Stats I am so scared my overall GPA 3.5, SCIENCE IS 3.2 AND TEAS IS 81.4. Do anyone have around same or do I even have a chance? good luck to all.

Anyone have an idea on when we should hear back?

Hi this was the response I got from them last week when I sent them an email.

You will be notified of your decisions for the Traditional BSN program in Mid-April.

Ours are similar. Just gotta stay positive. I am applying to ADN programs too just so I don't put all my eggs into one basket. I think we have a chance still though. Previous admits had similar stats. I am also anxious just waiting for it. I just wanna know already LOL.

That's good! I applied to Stevenson and Towson also. I was rejected by Towson, but I'm still waiting to hear back from Stevenson. Fingers crossed?

You have great stats too JUUL2020. I’ve seen similar stats in every UMSON BSN forum. It’s really all about how competitive the applicant pool is in regards to grades/TEAS. I’m sure the committee is going to be looking at everything, and not just grades and TEAS scores.

I like reading through the previous posts just to get an idea...
