UMSON BSN FALL 2020

Hey Guys,

Just wondering if there are any students that applied to University of Maryland School of Nursing for the BSN program for Fall 2020. I see a thread for Spring 2020, but not one for Fall as of yet. If so, do you mind posting your grades/TEAS scores. Mine are listed below.

3.85 overall GPA

3.9 science GPA

TEAS: still waiting on my results (took it today)

Hey guys. for the Baltimore Campus. has anyone set up their ONE CARD, Any information about Financial Aids, my residency says OUT OF STATE. Sometime in January I submitted the residency and my status was In State.

Hey, I think you should just email financial aid since you were just pulled up from the waitlist it may take a bit for it to pop in your account. As far as residency just contact the registrars office.

Do we have to accept our offer before we know what our financial aid package is? Has anyone who got bumped into the class from the waitlist heard anything about financial aid either before they accepted and paid the down payment or after they accepted/paid?

Yes. you have to Accept your Offer before anything can be done or seen. I call and that was exactly what I was told. I was bumped up into admit. I accepted my offer and was able to create my UMID account. however there is nothing about financial aid for me at the moment.

OK thanks. That's a bit of a bummer but oh well. I tried calling but the financial aid office appears to be closed and it goes to voicemail or asking to say the last name of the voicemailbox you want to reach. I guess I'm just going to submit the deposit and hope for the best as far as aid.

First of all CONGRATS!

I am moving on to my 3rd semester in the Fall. I am a student at the Shady Grove campus.

Just wanted to give you all a heads up about the technology requirements...it says you need a Windows capable computer but I've been using my Macbook since my first semester without any issues.

You will not be able to take your exams on a Chromebook though.

Also, don't hesitate to hit me up with any questions.

I didn’t.

I had classmates that worked first semester and end up either dropping hours or quitting during their second semester, which is very demanding.
