UMSON Baltimore/Shady Grove BSN FALL 2019

Hi All! I wanted to see who has applied for UMSON for the fall 2019 Semester. I have applied for the Baltimore campus. I am very nervous, as I retook two classes, so my current overall GPA of 3.75 will go down to a 3.3 as they factor that in. For an overall science GPA, mine is an 3.8. On the TEAS, I received a 73.3 overall, Having and 82 on the reading, and 87 on math. I also have experience at a nursing home that I currently work at now. Has any one else applied? Which campus? I have also heard that UMSON takes long to get back and most won't hear until April. I turned in my application on Jan 29., and I keep looking like they would have already said something hahah. Hope to hear back soon!

Also guys on earlier post this day was when they started to get acceptances. I think we will get ours later because the deadline was extended but i’m still gonna be checking like 3 times a day lol

hey y'all, I called admissions and they said decision letters are expected to be sent out next Thursday

Oh yay! Does that mean our application status online will change before that?

I'm assuming it will change as our individual letter is sent out. Not sure if the letter is physical or email.

The woman I talked to said this Thursday I don't know how they pick who hears first though so some of us may not hear back for a bit after Thursday

I went to the open house. I didn’t know it was for ppl who want more info about the application process. Basically if you already applied there wasn’t any new info that u didn’t find out while applying. One thing I didn’t know was that your science GPA is only comprised of the sciences required in your prerequisites as opposed to every science class you’ve taken in general
