Hello! I am in the process of applying for the spring 2012 semester at the Baltimore campus!! I didn't see any threads out there yet for people who are applying so I figured I'd start one :) Feel free to share gpa, TEAS scores, etc and any updates on admission!! GOOD luck to everyone!
i wish we knew already. you think we will know this week? haha. i am so tired of waiting.do you already work in informatics?
Hopefully around the 15th like everyone else on this thread! I dont already work in the informatics field but I recently accepted a job related to it! I've been involved in informatics committees and projects and just completed one of the HITECH programs for applied informatics. I'm extremely excited and nervous to be leaving the bedside but I know this is the area that I'm passionate for :redbeathe.

Re: Parking
My friend was at UMB 2-3 years ago, so it's possible prices have changed since then… she said she parked at Lexington Market for $3/day. She was at the school of PT, so I'm not sure about the locations of the buildings. I'm assuming they're all within the same area.
She also said the Saratoga garage wasn't too badly priced- just buy a pack of tickets each month (she didn't remember the price on that one).
So I was hoping to make it to an information session to get a little bit better of a grasp of scheduling (my decision to apply was a very last minute decision so I never had a chance to get to an information session prior to admissions) and make my decision from there, but I have to send in a deposit by the 18th and the next information session that I can attend isn't until the 30th. I jumped on the SURFS site and they have classes and times listed for Spring 2012 (can't register yet, obviously). I'm just wondering if anyone knows anything about possible clinicals sites and clinical scheduling? I don't need a set schedule or anything concrete- just a general idea. Anyone have any clues? I posted on the Fall 2011 thread asking for answers and I didn't hear from anyone yet.
Here's a little bit more information about parking: Looks like we need to get a student parking permit ($5). I think that means we get discounted parking prices? I'm not sure...
Anyone live in Anne Arundel County that might be willing to carpool if we have similar schedules? I wish we could get more students on this site so we could talk a bit more! I feel like there are only a few of us on here.
And I should also start putting all my posts together in one instead of posting 4 time in a 10 minute period :)
Has anyone from any of the MSN programs heard anything yet? Also, does any one know if they have a preference for in state status, or do out of towners have a fighting chance?
