UMB Spring '09 applicants?

Just thought I would check to see who else might be applying for Spring '09?

Got mine too! Am I correct to assume that we can register now?

Yes, there are several different ways you can turn in the completed form, and then after the office recieves it, it will take the hold off your registration online, and then, if they haven't signed you up already, you are able to sign up for the classes at that time, at least that is what I gather, must read over everything again still though!

I noticed many of you are talking about registering for classes...

Do yourself a huge favor and take Informatics online. That class is a joke and the professor is definitely not worth 3 hours of your life each week.

Did anyone get in with only 2 of the 4 sciences completed?

I'm trying to decide whether or not to apply for fall 09 (with only microbiology and chem) or wait and apply for sping10 (with all 4)

I don't want to waste 50$ if I know there if no way I am going to get in with only 2 sciences, granted they both are A's so I technically have a 4.0 science GPA and 3.7 overall GPA.

I had my chem class still to take and my stat class still to take as well and got in. I'm not sure what their view is on 2 science classes in progress, but seeing that your GPA is high, you might have a really good chance, I say go for it, $50 is worth it when you think that technically when you graduate you will get 1/2 a year sooner of making an RN paycheck!

You can try and attend the Orientation for Traditional BSN program at UMBSON and ask any questions then, thats how I figured that I was ok to apply with two classes remaining, which I am glad I applied now then wait, seeing that I got accepted!

There is a policy on how many core sciences need to be completed. Unfortunately, I cannot remember if Ms. barnes aid 2 or 3 must be completed at the time of application! Sorry!

Call them, and I'm sure someone can tell you the answer!

No it doesn't have any scholarship information at all. I had spoke to the financial aid office last month (upon receiving my acceptance letter) and they said that financial aid information should be going out the second week of November, so keep an eye out! We'll keep each other updated on that too, because I desperately need the help of financial aid!

Anyone having trouble with their registration?

My account was opened for registration online (after submitting the reg. form as instructed per the welcome packet) and i was able to register for all the classes i wanted except ONE. It was 333 LAB for the SG campus, all of which showed up as "closed section". I know there's no way ALL the labs for 333 are full! I will call them today after i get back from taking my son to school to find out what is going on with that....

anyone else having the same problem??

HA! nevermind! i when i got back from dropping my son off, i went and tried to re-register for the lab again just to make sure before i go and call the registration office... and voila, it worked this time! either it self corrected, or someone else notified the registration office before i did, but now it allows me to register! good thing i double checked before i called!

hey dorkalicious,

I am going to bother you again with another question. I am confused about the NURS 304. I see the lecture portion for Baltimore, but then I see that "Communication Module" and "Lab" portions are only for Shady Grove. My question is if you are in Baltimore, do you know how to register for lab and communication module?
