UMB Spring '09 applicants?

You don't have to register for lab and communications module. Once you register for 304, you're automatically going to be assigned a schedule to both of the sections which is all part of the 304 grade. Communications module isn't going to start until the mid-semester and lasts for only 4 weeks. Lab lasts for about 3/4th of the semester and then clinicals will take its place.

I am going to bother you again with another question. I am confused about the NURS 304. I see the lecture portion for Baltimore, but then I see that "Communication Module" and "Lab" portions are only for Shady Grove. My question is if you are in Baltimore, do you know how to register for lab and communication module?

I think Lonestar answered it all for you! Yes, I see that the Shady Grove campus scheduling seems a bit different. But LoneStar has been very helpful and has been through the process in the B-more campus, so I'd take her word for it.

I CANT BELIEVE ITTTTT...I'M STILL SHAKING AND CRYING AS WE SPEAK...PLS PLS DONT LET ANYBODY EVER TELL YOU YOU CAN'T MAKE IT...W/GOD EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE..THIS IS COMING FROM SOMEONE WHO APPLIED W/ LITTLE OVER 3.0 AND NET OF 78..I DIDNT EXPECT TO GET IN TO ONE OF THE BEST NURSING SCHOOLS IN THE WORLD.

I HAD TO CHECK THE PAGE OVER AGAIN AND HAVE MY BOYFRIEND READ JUST TO MAKE SURE I AM NOT SEEING THINGS....OH MY GOOODNESSSS I FEEL LIKE SHOUTINGGGG WELL I DID ALREADY...THANK GOD.

Congrats loloterp for making it into the school! I am sure Lonestar will agree with me when I say, there's a long uphill road ahead of you for the next two years, but remember you are one step CLOSER! Its stressful, but so rewarding all at once, good luck! Are you going to the B-more campus or SG campus?

Thank youuu.. :yeah: Don't scare me yet...let me enjoy the moment...lol..i haven't received my letter yet..so I'm not sure which campus..Hopefully, i get Balitmore b/c i live right across the street from there. I still want to call and have them say I"m admitted over phone cuz I didnt believe it..It must have been my CNA experience, recommendation from the nurses i work with and my NET cuz i didnt think a 3.01 gpa would cut... :nurse:

haha, I didn't mean to scare you, but from this point on everyone will want to tell you the reality of the stress and dedication the next two years will be. I def think that your CNA makes a diff too, alot of the students in my class had CNA under their belt from HS courses. I found out which campus on the letter that they sent shortly after the online admittance message. I applied for SG, so I got SG, but I have heard in the past they have switched people around, those who asked for one campus got another.... but you never know, just wait for the letter, you'll get it soon.

and YES, its official! I didn't believe it too till I got the hardcopy! The official letter is a small, one page letter, your actual info packet comes a few weeks later.
