UMass Boston - ABSN Spring 2021

I did not see a thread for this cohort, so everyone interested in this absn program please comment!

I want to apply for the Spring 2021 cycle. Does anyone know what the total tuition including housing, books etc would look like? Can anyone who did attend this program share what their total costs came down to? Would be super beneficial!

The website says we will get our admissions decisions via email!

Is anyone else’s portal saying ‘account not authorized’ when they try to log in? I haven’t had any issues logging in previously

Mine said that the site was undergoing scheduled maintenance this weekend and whenever that happens I get the 'scheduled maintenance' page or the 'account not authorized' page.  When that happens I logout and try again later and usually it lets me login... Not really sure why that happens!

Does anyone know or have an idea when they will start sending out acceptances? 

 

Im getting so anxious! I really hope we all get in. I hate the wait LOL

 

it says the FAFSA deadline is November 1st. Can you apply for FAFSA without knowing what school you will be attending?

@Future.Derm.NP I know the website originally said we would hear back 3-4 weeks after the deadline but I’m not sure if that has changed since they had pushed the deadline to the 15th? I check every hour ? I was also confused about the FAFSA!

I spoke to admissions today, they said "expect a decision by the beginning of November".  

Also, I was confused on FAFSA as well so I submitted 2020-2021 FAFSA and the 2021-2022 FAFSA which just opened.  You can fill out the FAFSA and put in the school and the information will be sent to the school - you can add multiple schools so I would put in any that you're applying to.  Financial aid packages from the school will not go out until you've been accepted.  When I was accepted to MCPHS it took a few weeks to receive my aid package.

It’s gotta be this week or next!! I wish they gave an exact day instead of “by early November” so I could stop checking every hour ?

Does your application portal say by early November?? Mine doesn’t say anything expect that my application will be updated once a decision has been made

RIGHT?! I check all the time. The tab is open while I'm at work and I refresh throughout the day ? I feel like it could update at any time!
