UMass Amherst 2020 ABSN

Hello,

I am starting this forum for the UMass Amherst 2020 Spring start. Has anyone else finished their application yet?

I have a 3.06 cumulative GPA and a 3.21 GPA from the school I graduated with my bachelors from.

We are supposed to recieve admissions decisions in March 2020 but I hope they dont make us wait that long.

Hey all! So I was accepted, but I will not be attending UMass. I was accepted to other schools that I would prefer to go to. If you've been waitlisted at least my spot will open up for someone. Congrats to everyone who will be attending in the Fall!

For those on the wait list. Any idea if we will get a email if we are no chosen. I feel bad calling I bet they are getting a million calls a day. And I do not trust spire.

@gabstet610 Accepted students have until 3/13 to commit. Then they move through the wait list. I was waitlisted on 2/25 last year and heard that I hadn’t made the cut on 4/2. They typically give 4/1 as the date they finalize. I hope that helps!

hey @blmf, I am hoping to get a sense of our Fall schedule before July when they send out information about classes. Would it be possible for you to share your class schedules with us? I want to get a sense of hours and days per week we are expected to be on campus so I can make arrangements for childcare.

I would be so grateful for any information!

@tds_11 I was looking for a typical schedule too but didn’t see anything online. I have my son starting full time daycare regardless in August, it’s best to be safe than sorry plus on the days you may not class or clinical you can still study.
