Hello,
I am starting this forum for the UMass Amherst 2020 Spring start. Has anyone else finished their application yet?
I have a 3.06 cumulative GPA and a 3.21 GPA from the school I graduated with my bachelors from.
We are supposed to recieve admissions decisions in March 2020 but I hope they dont make us wait that long.

Do you have an idea of the acceptance rate for UMass Amherst? I am really interested in this school so I will be putting in my application soon.

Hi there!
I am also planning to apply for the 2020 cohort. I am finishing my last two prerequisites this fall, so I will be sending in the complete application in December (so awesome that it's not rolling admission!). I have read some previous posts about the ABSN programs, and some students heard back as early as April so lets keep our fingers crossed that happens to us!!

Hey!
I am planning on applying for the 2020 cohort as well. I am finishing up my last prerequisite this spring so I hope that will not be an issue. I have seen that the cohort is up to 88 people. I also have read that people have found out their acceptance as early as February so that would be great as well!
Are you guys looking at other programs as well?

Hi everyone,
I applied to UMass Amherst's program for Summer 2020, but I have a question about the program. Is it full-time in class or online?

Hi blossomppg, I believe its in oerson full time I took a tour a few weeks ago and there were huge classrooms so thats my best guess!
Hi @FtrMdyf_CNM,
Thanks for the response! Did you also apply for summer 2020?
Hey! no worries! Yes I did! My application should be complete by the end of the week since I took Human Growth & Development during winter session. So waiting for them to receive my final grade and I'll be all set!
Nice! Is that your last prereq?
Now, we wait... but I don't really like waiting haha. I read from other forums that they send out admissions decisions as early as February so here's to hoping for that.
Yup, my last one thank God. And honestly I’m really hoping they get back to us within the next few weeks! The forum is pretty slow compared to the other years, I wonder what’s up with that!
Does anyone know anything about our clinicals- specifically if we have a preceptorship or not? I've heard having a preceptor during clinicals is super helpful!
The waiting game is so tough! Stay strong guys!
