Hello,
I am starting this forum for the UMass Amherst 2020 Spring start. Has anyone else finished their application yet?
I have a 3.06 cumulative GPA and a 3.21 GPA from the school I graduated with my bachelors from.
We are supposed to recieve admissions decisions in March 2020 but I hope they dont make us wait that long.
Hi @FtrMdyf_CNM,
Same! I looked at other forums, and this year's just quiet. I'm kind of hoping that this year is not as competitive as other years.
Hi guys! I have applied to the Umass 2020 cohort as well. I know some people in the 2019 cohort who heard back about their application decision as soon as February. I have been accepted to Northeasterns' ABSN program but umass is my top so I am praying I get in here. Has anyone heard back?
Good luck to everyone!
Hey everyone! I also applied for the 2020 cohort. I called the admissions office today to see when they might be sending the decision letters out, and the women said it would be around March 1st. She casually said that one person was going through all the applications, so that is why it will take some time. I also was hoping to find out sooner, so I could avoid putting a deposit down on a different school to hold my place. Hopefully they send them out sooner though.
@Soleil Pacetti what other school did you apply to and hear back from?
Also, I went back to last years forum and it looks like they got an admission response as soon as the 13th!
Hi @FtrMdyf_CNM,
I heard back from University of Miami. They are on a rolling admissions though. I also saw that last years forum showed people getting earlier responses, so hopefully this will happen again.
@cirquedu oh good! Do they start in the summer also? I preferred not to apply to programs with rolling admissions Idk why I’m just not a fan! Yea I went back and read ppl heard back the second week of February so I’m hopeful next week we’ll hear back.
anyone apply to Elms college?. They offer an accelerated program too, one of the only other schools besides Umass in the area.
