Hi! Im a finalist for the Nursing Corps Scholarship. Does anyone know how they would go about pay for books and supplies (once I officially received the award of course)?

I got my acceptance letter in the mail!! No email though

OctaviaF, Congrats! I am originally from Amherst but now live closer to Springfield, so I have a good amount of knowledge of the area. Springfield does have its good and bad parts as with many other cities. The sixteen acres area of Springfield is very nice and quiet for the most part. PLus side to being in Springfield is that it is much cheaper than Amherst. Also, you could look into living in towns and cities near Springfield. The program is right off the highway so its easily accessible from other areas such as West Springfield (not apart of the city of Springfield, but just over the bridge. Its a nice safe city), Agawam, Chicopee, South Hadley etc.

She said the letter were in the process of being signed And since they are sending both email and letters to expect something between the beginning to middle of next week.

The woman I just spoke to in the Nursing department said if she's not mistaken they will be sending out both email and letters The New Student tab is gone for me too

Also, I just checked the 2018 cohort thread and RoseReyes wrote: "That's what I thought too! That's why I'm really confused because I got an email from Umass IT saying "congratulations on your admission to Umass....." and there was a link to set up an account and I‎t said my major was the nursing program. Just checked the ABSN webpage and it is the same for in-state and out of state. about 40k a year, not including additional expenses. It's certainly stressful. I wish I never checked that section of spire!

I noticed that too, but theirs indicate out of state tuition. Are you in mass?

My major still shows as my undergrad major. Im a bit nervous now. I am going to wait for the email/letter

Where do i find primary major?

I did my undergrad at umass. Graduated in 2012, so I had a spire account already I'm afraid to trust it was well, but I was on spire earlier and it wasn't there
