I'm currently completing my undergrad+prereqs to apply in the next year to UM's ABSN program for the Spring 2019 session (Apps due next august). I know it's a very premature thread but I thought there might be other applicants for the Spring 2019 session who are already freaking out about apps like me. If any students who were accepted for previous threads could share their experience, tips, or stats here that would be incredibly helpful.
They are definitely behind because the summer cohort was bigger than usual. I've heard mutliple times we should begin seeing responses by late May. I'm not sure when I'll receive mine since my reccomender didn't submit the letter until early May. Hoping for soon! UM is my first choice and I will also be sending my deposit ASAP.
We're about to enter June...hopefully they'll get back to us soon by now! Has anyone received any information on decisions from calling the admissions office?
I get notifications every time someone comments on this page and my anxiety level shoots up hahah. The wait is killing me!! Hopefully we hear something soon
I called last week to ask a question and I was told that they were reviewing the first batch of decisions and we should expect to see them soon but wasn't given a date. I looked at the thread for summer that just started this month and people were still being accepted in April, two weeks or so before the program started so they are behind forsure.

What I've read from previous threads from UM, last year by now some people were already accepted for Spring term. Maybe their behind?
