I'm currently completing my undergrad+prereqs to apply in the next year to UM's ABSN program for the Spring 2019 session (Apps due next august). I know it's a very premature thread but I thought there might be other applicants for the Spring 2019 session who are already freaking out about apps like me. If any students who were accepted for previous threads could share their experience, tips, or stats here that would be incredibly helpful.
Does anyone know where we send updated transcripts with new grades?
I would confirm with UM whether they require they be sent to UM or NursingCAS. Personally, all of my classes but one had been "verified" by NursingCAS when I submitted my application. I received an email from NursingCAS sometime last week saying something along the lines of being able to update my application and they will provide the updates to UM. I went that route since my transcripts were already at NursingCAS. Waited about three days and bam, all of my info was updated to depict my last class being verified. Also updated my GPA. It won't hurt to verify with UM to see what their preference is. I hope this helps!
I emailed Anna earlier this morning to ask about admission decisions for the first round of applicants. Good news, she said we will know by 6pm TONIGHT!

I was accepted!! Did anyone else get accepted on this thread? As a heads up, I didn't know my Canelink account so I called the IT help number in the email and they were able to give me my username and password.
