Hi I'm an ultrasound student seems like an interesting career there are jobs in my area and the pay is high.
I always had a problem choosing between that or nursing. So man people persuaded me not to go into nursing so I picked ultrasound I did want it and i'm very happy! but I often wonder if I would've liked nursing even more.

Okay? What are you looking for from us exactly?
Just wondering how current nurses are liking their jobs? since I had so many people including a nurse tell me not to go into nursing. Is it as hectic and stressful as people say?

Yes it is. But so is every job that you have. It has its good and bad. The grass isn't greener over here, per se, it just uses a different fertilizer.

You're a student, yes? Don't presume anything about your chosen field until you actually start work.
Also, there's nothing that says you can't do both. Yeah, you'd have to go to school again, but I've known nurses that had allied health backgrounds. In fact, it might be possible to use that to your advantage, in certain specialties...

I love my job, but that does not mean you would love my job. It is far from too late to change to nursing if you want to, but if you do you will eventually wonder if you would have been happier as a sonography technician. Life is full of such choices and wondering what might have been later on.
Try to let it go and if you cannot, then try being a nurse!
