Hello fellow nurses. I am currently 4 years out of nursing school and working in Australia in Paediatrics as a RN. I did my BSc in Adult nursing in London. I am wondering if there are any UK nurses who got licensed in NY. I have just applied for the CGFNS last night. I understand I may need to do maternity ect. Second question anyone know of any schools in NY or the USA that offers this?
Thanks
Charlie :)

I would do the CGFNS and NCLEX then apply for jobs

I'm still waiting on my CES report being generated. I paid to have it expedited but had to get back in touch with the Uni for further information so I've emphasised to the Uni to try and detail as much about placement areas as possible for example hoping my health visiting placement will count for maternal/Paeds and I'll have enough hours. All the best for today!
That's excellent, well done! So nice to hear some positive experiences from UK nurses! Keep us posted on your progress, love hearing about how everyone is getting on
