I am due to have a job interview for a hospital in the US that my agency sourced for me.Assuming I get the job then my agency will apply for a EB3 visa and Green Card for me and I wondered what other people's experiences are in the same situation. Whether you've been through it or are going through it now.I would love to hear tips, helpful hints and also everything that went wrong. It would help to know what to watch for.
Thanks everyone.
Thanks I feel really let down by the agencies I wanted to apply for my CES through Texas as it is a compact state as well and I was discouraged by them. Find that they have an agenda to sell their own NCLEX courses and make you heavily rely on them. They hate people who can use their brains as it's really hard to sign them on to rubbish contracts. I will apply to Texas will cost me more to get a CES report sent out to them.
Simkale, I've actually done both an online and a paper application for Texas BON. Getting the ATT was kind of difficult and you have to really call the BON, your college , the NMC and CGFNS regularly in order to ensure things are being done , forms filled, forms posted and processed in a timely fashion. It's exhausting but worth it in the end. Follow up regularly and things will work out.
Thanks ICunursey l have done my online application paid so lets see how that goes. Looks like if one keeps at it they have a very good chance of winning. I am also going to start revising for NCLEX and hopefully by the time the ATT comes in am set. Now that you got your NCLEX yours is now an easy gig :) just sign favourable contract and wait for immigration clearance.
Congrats on the application Simkale. That's great. And yes if you follow up regularly things will work out fine...,eventually 😜. Remember to keep on top of your university, Bon and CGFNS. Yeah easy gig!!😂😂😂. Keep in touch and keep us informed. I'm just waiting for my Visa screen certificate to be approved.
I am really surprised with the speed of this BON í ½í¸€ fees requirement completed, program(education) licence requirement completed - they have put the date for last year when my CES report was completed. I suppose they are happy with the CES professional report so no need to faff around with NMC and Unií ½í¸Š. I think it's pointless for them requesting NMC licence as it's not going to be converted atleast that's what they told me...so I see their point of clearing me fast as CGFNS has already done the work of reviewing the transcripts. On their online board am just left with Exam! I have received an email for taking finger prints so in a few days that should be on its way back to them.
This could be pretty fast in better start reading hard!

For an experienced nurse 1-2 months is more than enough if you have self-discipline. Besides just going through a question bank learn about the testing method itself and the strategies for answering correctly. For example, there are videos on YouTube explaining everything you need to know about the NCLEX, with some valuable insight from those that passed the exam.
