I am a UK born citizen trained in Australia hence I am going via the overseas trained route. I passed my CBT test and am in the full application and assessment stage.
I am interested in sharing information with people who are also in this stage of the application.
I commenced my application in 2013 under the old process which was rejected due to lack of clinical hours. I received a letter from NMC advising me of the new process. Like many people on this forum, this entire process has been long, drawnout, frustrating and tedious for me!!!!!!!
Hi there nurses. I am an aspiring UK nurse from the Philippines and just recently passed the CBT. I just have a question regarding my NMC application. Unfortunately, I've uploaded photocopy of the needed documents for the assessment stage . I already deleted them and uploaded new documents which are the original copies on PDF format but every time I try to download and check if they're the new uploaded docs, I always see the photocopy ones instead of my new uploaded documents. I already tried to resize my files and tried to use another computer with faster internet connection but I still can't seem to fix the problem. Anyway, I still haven't officially submitted my files because of this problem. I hope you can help me to solve this. I am hoping for your response. Thank you and God bless.
I encountered this problem before
when u call the Nmc they will tell u that on their system they can see the new documents uploaded but on your portal it still shows the old one
Same with me. It is because the portal will only show the first document that the candidate will upload on their site. However, the representative told me that there is still a need to give them a call to double check if the correct document has been received.
@RNTMBY yah, I already called them and they told me not to worry because they actually received all my files, I just hope it wont affect my application. thanks!
@Kaede13joyce.... Did you send the originals of all the above document or photocopies?
I sent the original certificate of employment and letterheaded papers as supporting docs for both reference 1 and 2. The rest were the barcoded forms.
Did it appear also on your portal?.however,when i opened my nmc account today i couldnt find it anymore. It just disappeared from my portal and currently displaying only the online application information.
:drowning:help,what does it mean?is it some computer /online glitch?..as seen from the attached the screenshot pic of the "more informarion required-feedback", it just disappeared and nowhere to be seen on my portal.
How was your application?dd it already appear on your portal that they received your mailed documents?. I called the nmc and told me to wait for atleast 10 days before ut can be viewed on my portal yet its been 3wks already and i am still waiting for my docs to be scanned and appeared on my portal.i tried to call them again and asked whether they already received my docs yet they just won't confirm and just told me again to wait.
Happy New Year Nurses! I just checked my application with NMC and I was worried when they labelled my docs "Document ReceivedRe submission" .. Do you guys know what this means? I mailed NMC about this and Im still waiting for their reply.
May I know, when did you sent your barcoded forms and how long before you were put on assessment queue? Based on the tracking number DHL gave me, my prc documents was recieved by NMC on December 19 while my other barcoded forms was sent by my agency last December 29 which I expect NMC will recieved it by this time. My portal has no table that says about the receiving of documents. Thanks in advance
It usually takes 10 to 15 working days before they will scan the docs and reflect on your portal.
