Hi People
I am a UK born citizen trained in Australia hence I am going via the overseas trained route. I passed my CBT test and am in the full application and assessment stage.
I am interested in sharing information with people who are also in this stage of the application.
I commenced my application in 2013 under the old process which was rejected due to lack of clinical hours. I received a letter from NMC advising me of the new process. Like many people on this forum, this entire process has been long, drawnout, frustrating and tedious for me!!!!!!!
I am exsaudi too. To be honest, I thought about doing that too. However, NMC is very strict and they will see the employment gaps. Also, if you will not declare Saudi Arabia, you may be questioned once you reached the visa application bec they'll ask for your old and new passport.
Hello.I need guidance and opinion.
I had 2 years experience here in the PHILIPPINES (800 bed capacity hospital) and worked in SAUDI ARABIA for 2 years.
I decided to work in UK so I took the IELTS and passed, now I am reviewing for CBT.
However, my friends are telling me not to declare my work in SAUDI ARABIA as it will only give me headache soon during registration.
What should I do? I made sure that I had all the documents before I left the Kingdom ie Police Clearance, Certificate of Good Standing from MOH, Employers certificate and No objections certificate.
What problems I might encounter during registration? Will I have documents in the future that I need my Saudi Employers to sign to proceed in my registration as I think something like that would really give me headache since Saudi people do things on their pace (which is really slow)
Hello! I am in full application and assessment stage in the nmc application and as of now waiting for decision letter. I have some worries though because im a second degree bsn but my first course is bs biology then i have a one year stint as a medical student. My subjects in my previous course was credited , thus i only have two years bsn program. I am worried if ill be declined by the nmc. Anybody know someone in the same situation that i am who was allowed to proceed to take the osce? Thank you.

Not really sure about this but what I understand from reading the NMC requirements is that.. the THEORETICAL classes and CLINICAL trainings should meet the required hours. If they say "THEORETICAL" classes I think they are referring to subjects that are focused on the course (nursing). So based from my understanding, if you've taken up all major subjects and you've had clinical exposures, which I think you did, you'll be fine. Not sure. :)
Hi, has anyone taken the OSCE in the last few weeks? Like since they added a munch of things to the potential task list. Also, how do you study for APIE part? I just don't know what I should be reading or memorising! Please help. My email is [email protected]

I guess it has been there since it all strated, i mean the osce. it's the same list I've seen early 2016 and some passers have recently posted here (this february) that there are no changes yet.. not sure when it will actually "change" but the northampton website says "skills refresh on Jan 2017"
