UIC Graduate Entry Program

Published

Hi folks,

Thinking about applying to UIC's GEP program. Anybody here applied and was accepted? What were your stats?

My stats: 3.2 Overall GPA/3.5 Sci BA in Sociology. Office Manager in home health care, tech in a medical equipment co, medical assistant (no cert) in dr's office and later office manager there. Volunteering in Nursing Home around 120 hours...

From what I can tell on their website, after completing the NCLEX, you immediately start the master portion of the program. Is this correct?

Originally applied FNP, changed to occupational health/ FNP

I also applied for PNP!

I applied to PNP as well. I've always wanted to do Pediatrics :) How many seats do they usually have per class for Pediatrics?

Originally FNP, now PNP.

@ncami fascinating research!! I applied AGNP!

You guys think we will hear something over spring break?

@hi616

Did you contact the guy or if he contacted you in regards to your score??

No I didn't. I kinda forgot. I'm out in Seattle for spring break and I haven't thought much about it.

Maybe he didn't contact us because he received it? I will call ETS tomorrow to ask them if they have been sent.

You guys think we will hear something over spring break?

I hope so... It seems to be cutting it a bit close to wait until the week of the 1st to let people know, right? I'm wondering the same thing.

Phew I emailed and they said they got the scores.

I emailed him yesterday and he didn't reply. I am emailing him again. He's working over spring break? Then yes I hope they do contact is over the break about our invites!

Lol nvm as I'm typing this, he just emailed saying he received my scores! Yay!!
