Aww man! Didn't they say we'd find out "next week", last week?

When I went to an information session a couple months ago, they said that they look through your transcripts and will ask for a more detailed one if they need more information about certain prereq classes. Like if you said on the application that a class fulfilled a requirement, and they can't find that information on the unofficial transcript, they may ask for the official or they may ask for the syllabus from that class to make sure it fulfills the requirement you say it fills. The official becomes unofficial once you open it. I think that may be why they specify unofficial; they don't want to get papers from colleges. I really hope this helps! UIC had warned us at the info session that they may ask for clarifications. Please don't stress too much about it!

Thanks, but what I meant was, did UIC actually say that there are group interviews or did someone assume this? I just want to know if that information came from an official UIC source, because the sound of group interviews is kind of nerve-racking!

I haven't read anything about group interviews either. I've been searching the UIC GEP website for a couple days to see if I can find anything about the interviews and I haven't found anything. Nothing was said about group interviews at the information session either. If you don't mind me asking, where did you learn about the group interviews?

Hey JustD16, Thanks for telling me about this thread!! It's crazy that the deadline is today. I got all of my letters in, but how do I know that my application is complete? I wish UIC sent an email letting us know that our applications are officially submitted after the recommendations have been received. Good luck to you all! By the way, I applied to the pediatric NP, and from what I've read on older threads, it doesn't seem like many apply for that. Any one apply for Pediatric NP?
