I haven't seem a UIC 2016 GEM thread yet. Did anyone apply? How competitive is the GEM program?

Any of you on the wait list been able to access the FAQ document??? It keeps telling me my login credentials are invalid. How hard do they have to make it to get our questions answered?!?!

Infuriating!! I'm so annoyed right now. And of course it's after 5pm, so I doubt anyone is at the College to answer our questions. I tried calling and got no response.

I got an email about being waitlisted.

Did anyone get outright accepted or rejected?

Maybe they only sent out one batch.

it could be they also only did for one of the campuses. If you are given waitkist you can choose to opt in or out. And either one campus or both are available.

Had to log on to my UIC application account to find anything. I was accepted, but never received an email/can't log in to the UIC portal to see financial aid decisions. As of right now I will be going to UWM unless UIC offers a financial deal that I can't refuse. I've been really disappointed in UIC's communication, response time, and overall organization for the GEM program though
