I am soooo disappointed to see the UHC thread closed. What a shame.

It was great until the last few pages because that was when the name calling and the liberal "mud-slinging" started.

The UHC was a great, lively discussion with a lot of great input.

Too bad a newer member (with less than 25 posts) can make personal attack, after personal attack and as a result, have the entire thread closed.

With that said then, shouldn't this thread be closed and/or removed?

Well, MRN, that totally depends on whether you're being snarky ....

or serious. ;)

:saint::saint::saint: Just kidding:saint::saint::saint:

It'll probably be left up to the Admins to decide when, but yeah, this will ultimately be closed, I'm pretty certain.

snarky is such a great word, I think it is an AN word actually but so descriptive

Anyway back ontopic, I was enjoying the UHC thread I love learning about other healthcare cultures to see what we can do differently to improve our patients care and nursing lives here in the UK

I think the U.S. healthcare system could learn a lot from the U.K., Canada & etc where there is UHC. It would work if done correctly.

My first exposure to the word "snarky" came from the kids' book, "Harriet the Spy". My girls and I love that book!

I agree, snarky is an excellent word, one I use with some regularity, especially with my attitudinal 13-year old :)

My mom has been using the word "snarky" for as long as I can remember. She's not in healthcare. I've always kinda liked the sound of it.
