UH Manoa Nursing Fall 2014

Omg! I mailed it! I'm freaking out now lol! I'm going to email Brian ASAP to ask him whether I should've gotten anything saying they received my application. In my STAR it does say "Applied to Manoa Fall 2014 Standard Undergraduate BS Nursing -- Complete-Out to Program DEC-06-2013 MAN" so I figured it was fine. I not a current student at Manoa but I did submit the general Manoa application with the application fee.

No I don't think you should worry! Since you did will out the general application and it shows up on STAR!!! Actually, mine doesn't say I applied on my STAR… So now I'm freaking out! I'm going to email Brian too

I'm sure you're fine! It probably doesn't say that for you since you're already a student there. Plus they mailed you the confirmation letter. I'm still really worried about not getting that letter because it's weird that would they send it to some people and not others! Hopefully Brian replies soon

Yeah I just asked one of my friends and she said it's not on her STAR but she did get a letter. I really hope Brian gets back to you soon, your app would have been perfect, your scores were SUPER good. I really hate how the program is so competitive, like can we all just succeed together:( Let me know if anything comes up. Best wishes!!!!

Brian said he checked my file and they did send me a confirmation letter back in January... WHEW!! I have no idea why I never received the letter but as long as they have it in my file I feel better now. He said that they are generating the decision letters this morning! GOOD LUCK!!!

I emailed him late this morning but Brian still hasn't replied to me:( I'm still getting a little worried lol. But good luck to you too!!!! Hopefully we can be future classmates!!!!

Did Brian get back to you yet? I really think you have nothing to worry about, but I know how you feel -- the closer it gets to receiving the letters the more nervous I feel lol. AHHHHH I think we should have them by next week!! I'm surprised there aren't more people who applied to Manoa on here!

He just emailed me this morning! He told me that it only says that for those who are new and turned in a system application as well, he said that because I'm already a student it doesn't say that on my STAR. Finally relief! Lol yeah Brian told me we should be receiving in "the next couple of weeks" but I hope it's next week!

I got an 82% overall on my TEAS, and I should have applied to Manoa, but didn't lol. You guys have awesome scores! Are your first choices UH Manoa? If I do not get accepted into KCC this fall I will try both for Spring 2015. By then I will have pharm done. I didn't know about that change in STAR, thank you! I will be stalking that daily now haha

I applied for Fall 2014 as well. The anticipation is killing me. You guys shouldn't have to worry though because you have really good stats! I'm a bit pessimistic because I didn't do all that great on my NLN. I only got a 128 (71, 94, 77). I should have studied more...but I have a 4.0 cumulative GPA so I'm hoping that'll help :/

Your stats are really good too! One of the current nursing students told me that GPA weighs a lot on their decision. Are you a freshman at Manoa?

No, I'm currently at LCC because I couldn't afford Manoa. A lot of people that come from universities say the education's same though; just depends on your teacher.

Really? Well that's good. I heard they more so look at your test scores though ): and I don't really know what to expect because this year is the first year they're accepting the TEAS and it seems like a lot of people did super good on that one.
