I noticed there was not a thread started for the University of Hawaii-Manoa GEPN Fall 2015 applicants so I decided to start one!
I just finished up all of the requirements and got all of my documents and information submitted through NursingCAS yesterday...so now the waiting begins.
I applied for the APHN program for Fall 2015.
I know they admit on a rolling admissions basis now so I'm just anxious, waiting, and nervous about a response. I was told that it will take approximately 4-6 weeks or so to possibly receive a decision. It can't come quick enough for me!!!!! =D
Is there anyone else who applied for the GEPN Fall 2015 cohort at UH-Manoa? Wondering who may be joining me in the Fall of 2015!!
Brand new to the website, but thought I would join in on the blogging. I turned my application in on February 12th for the Fall 2015 start. (super last minute, I know) The video and the essay took a little longer than I expected. I haven't recieved a confirmation email yet, do you think this is normal or should I contact admissions? My NursingCAS page confirms that I sent that portion in. Just worried since I haven't recieved anything from UH yet! Wishing all of you the best of luck and congrats to those who got in!

Hi caitlintaylorr, you should receive an email from the program saying you submitted everything. email Shannon and ask him about it if you didn't get the email. There are probably a lot of people who applied so it just takes some time to get the email. He is really helpful with answering questions. He emails back quick too! Good luck with your applications

Shannon is EXTREMELY helpful with everything. It took a few weeks to finally confirm everything with them and my video took so long. I kept deleting and recording lol. I spoke to Shannon and I think MaryAnn on the phone at least 5 times to make sure everything was there so I would definitely call them. You'd get a quicker reply
I submitted my app for the 2015 UH Manoa-Gepn and was accepted for the APHN-MS track - Can't wait to meet everyone in the fall!!

Has anyone began thinking about financial aid? I already filled out & submitted my FAFSA, but I am still stressing over how I am going to pay for everything, or If I will be able to get enough through loans... If anyone has any insight or tips on the whole financial aid thing, let me know..
Hello. I am wondering if anyone knows how many slots are alloted for the GEPN DNP program? Has anyone heard recently that they were accepted into the DNP program?

Hey all! This thread has been quiet lately. Did you guys receive that email saying they are extending the application decisions to the end of April? More waiting I suppose! hope we all get some good news (for those of us still waiting!)
