UF accelerated BSN 2021

Published

Hey everybody! Anyone applying for the above mentioned program? I haven't had luck finding any threads, in regard to this, for that specific year. I would like to find people who are so we can keep in touch through this process.

Specializes in BAS,.

OMG @JTwin01 your GPA is really good. Unfortunately I messed up my my first year of college due car accidents and not attending class. So my GPA is trash and I hope my answers shine through since my grades are really good now. Also if I retake it I hope I get a mid 90 grade on HESI.

I will let you know what I get, and I hope you do good on the essay especially since UMASS has a really good reputation.

Thanks. I think you'll do well on the HESI. I heard that it is easier than the TEAS. A friend did tell me that they put a lot of weight on the answers to the questions that they require.

Hey guys,

I saw someone above ask about the personal statement and what It should be about. I emailed Kianna and she said that we put our answers to the 10 questions in the personal statement box. We do not need to do a personal statement, only the 10 questions!

I take it on November 4th. NiekaO was supposed to take it this past weekend. They haven't said how they did yet.

Hey, sorry for the delay and I didn’t have to take it since I took in in February 2019. I emailed her and she told me that test is fine to use. I got an 81 and honestly it’s not that hard just know your formula and know the physiology of the body. For reading just pay attention to the question. Math has a lot fractions.

That's good news! Thanks! I'll only have about a week to study for it because of finishing up a paper and this semester. I'm a little nervous about how I'll do.

Hey everyone!

I just read (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) email about taking the HESI only 1 time now. Has anyone used a prep course for the HESI that they recommend?

I haven't used a prep course. I'm using the HESI Admission Assessment Exam Review book and Pocket Prep to study. I'm also watching Kahn Academy and Crash Course videos on Youtube.

Hi everyone!

This would be my second time applying to UF's ABSN program. I took the HESI A2 last year, so would that mean I would get V2 of the exam?

Hello, I might be applying to the program but there are long essay questions like you said. Please can someone screenshot the type of essay questions asked or give me an idea?
