Hey everybody! Anyone applying for the above mentioned program? I haven't had luck finding any threads, in regard to this, for that specific year. I would like to find people who are so we can keep in touch through this process.

I still have  A LOT to do. I have seven of the essay questions and the resume to complete. I'm still waiting on two of my reference letters, too. I probably won't get mine submitted, completely, until the end of October, when this current semester ends. That way the grades from this semester are on the transcripts for this school.

What is the personal statement supposed to be about...why we want to be a nurse? Also, how long is it supposed to be?

The personal statement is the essay portion (I hope) I think they are classifying it that way on nursingcas

Hey! I'm looking into applying to this program for Summer 2021. I am currently in my last semester at UF finishing my B.S. in anthropology. My GPA is 3.83, and I have taken many other science courses (I was premed). I am almost done with my pre-reqs, but I still have nutrition and microbio to go. I have 2 years experience as a research volunteer in a genetics lab, but I am nervous about lack of shadowing/healthcare experience (I was planning on getting some experience but then covid :/). I am even wondering if I should apply this cycle or wait for next year. Should I mention a possible interest as a research nurse? My major is also involved with alot of forensics and a forensics nurse is a very interesting potential career for me, but should I not even mention such specialized career paths?

That's what I heard, about the scores...what a relief! The studying is going okay at this point. I'm finishing up my last semester for my bachelors, and I have two papers due this month. I'm trying to do that, study, and finish the questions along with writing a 600 word essay for my UMass application. I'm not sure how much studying for the HESI that I will get in, but I'm confident that I'll do fairly well. Hopefully, my GPA and answers to the questions will carry me.

I see the total cost for UMASS and I thought about attending there and I haven't decided. The essay should be good and congrats on finish the last semester after these two papers. Whats the question on? and like I said if your in a bind Youtube it, it helps to do a quick 10-minute HESI guide on it. What is your GPA if you don't mind.

The 10 questions that UF is requiring. Then UMass has three questions to answer that ha e to be in a essay format.

Good luck on your HESI. Let me know how it goes, please.

My GPA is 3.6. I heard that most people who have above a 3.5 have a good chance of getting in.
