2015 UF Accelerated BSN

Hello Everyone!

I'm getting this forum started early for those who are applying to the UF College of Nursing's Accelerated Bachelors of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program!

Feel free to get the discussion going... How do you stand among others (GRE, GPA, etc)? Go Gators! :)

Ugh. I'm starting to get impatient for these letters. I went through last year's forum and it looks like they first started to get them on March 8th. I wonder how long it's going to take the letters to be delivered. I know they said by the end of February...gah!

I sprint to my mailbox every time I come home from work. The mail women even has my phone number if something came in from a school. Too obsessive?

Well, if it's going out by the end of Feb. then they have 8 days. He did say they would be sending them by then,right? Not that they would have made decisions by then?

End of the month means end of this week! I think we're gonna know next week...Get excited:)

So I'll be out of town the week letters arrive it seems, March 1-7...does anyone know if we'll also find out by e mail ?

Interview at UNF March 6th...hoping to hear from UF before that. JU interview was several weeks ago...expecting a response from them any day now as well. Anxious every time I open the mailbox, but I know this is the right path for me so not giving up no matter what happens! My overall GPA is ~3.7 and prerequisite GPA is 4.0...hoping that helps as my GRE wasnt great but good enough. My BSBA is from UF and one of my recommendations was from a UF PhD (my micro professor) for what that is worth. Still worried as there is no telling what they go by ugh!!

I just received an email from Ken Foote. He said they are currently in the process of making decisions and that they will go out asap.

I'm pretty sure we will receive our letters next week or the week after, depending on usps.

Well, I thought he said they would go out by the end of February? That statement makes it sounds like it may or may not happen. On the forum from last year they said they started getting theirs around March 8th. I was really hoping to know by next week. I know people who applied to grad school in December and they knew in January and they don't start until Fall. I'm surprised it takes them this long figuring we'd have to start in Summer. * Starting to rip hair out* lol.
