I noticed that there isn't a thread yet for all of us who are thinking about applying next summer for UF's Accelerated BSN. I know it's only June but I can't be the only one who is already stressing about the application process, the essays, not being good enough, etc. ?
Hopefully this thread can be a place where we can ask questions and support each other throughout the process!
A little about me: I currently attend UF as a Health Education major and would love to stay here and study at the Gainesville campus, but if I get into the Jacksonville one I will gladly go there! They're also requiring the HESI exam this year and I was wondering if anyone knew any tips and tricks. I've only ever heard of the TEAS! I find it so interesting that this one tests our anatomy/physio knowledge, but also kinda frightening because anatomy at UF was a nightmare for me LOL.

I'm currently in the ABSN program in Gainesville. I just wanted to mention that some of the people who were "rejected" per their e-mail last year were actually waitlisted without knowing it. Just FYI. Also good luck everyone. I remember this day like it was yesterday!
Edit: We all got our decisions via e-mail at 5:00 p.m on the dot.

I'm not entirely sure yet but I would like to go in ER/Mental health/Women's health.
And WOW!! I hope they change that this year and let people know they're on the waitlist. UF is the only school I've applied to this cycle, I think it would be unfair for others that applied to other schools and having to pick other programs if they took their rejection as a final decision.

I'm not entirely sure but so far I'm interested in Labor & Delivery, Pediatrics, Hospice Care, Intensive Care Unit. This will probably change as I learn more. My goal is to become a Nurse Practitioner one day!
