I noticed that there isn't a thread yet for all of us who are thinking about applying next summer for UF's Accelerated BSN. I know it's only June but I can't be the only one who is already stressing about the application process, the essays, not being good enough, etc. ?
Hopefully this thread can be a place where we can ask questions and support each other throughout the process!
A little about me: I currently attend UF as a Health Education major and would love to stay here and study at the Gainesville campus, but if I get into the Jacksonville one I will gladly go there! They're also requiring the HESI exam this year and I was wondering if anyone knew any tips and tricks. I've only ever heard of the TEAS! I find it so interesting that this one tests our anatomy/physio knowledge, but also kinda frightening because anatomy at UF was a nightmare for me LOL.
Do they ever tell you why you did not get accepted into the program if you ask? Is there an opportunity to review results?
Also, I never got a result from the Assessment and I'm wondering out of curiosity if you are able to see them? I just thought that was odd that no results were given..

I asked last year and Kenneth basically said there were better applicants and didn’t give me a reason so I could improve. I was disappointed.

I didn't get any results either. I don't think they release their criteria, because anyone who knew what their criteria were would just click the 'right' answers and it would kinda stop being useful as a personality gauge. That's my guess anyway.

Aww that's very disappointing! I hope this year you have better luck! I'm trying not to get my hopes up to brace myself from being devastated if rejected but I'm trying to stay hopeful! ?
I am almost positive that we will be finding out this coming Friday at 5 PM -the Friday before the University of Florida Spring break. Could be a very great start to the break or a very negative start ?
I just checked my post-app status portal. I had an update that my high school and dual-enrolled college transcripts were received within the past few days and under review. Anyone else receive this as well? I can't tell if that's a good sign or not, I definitely didn't personally send those transcripts.

mine was received in October 2019 when I submitted those transcripts

I really hope they do notify us on or before friday... it would be so terrible to wait another week!
