I noticed that there isn't a thread yet for all of us who are thinking about applying next summer for UF's Accelerated BSN. I know it's only June but I can't be the only one who is already stressing about the application process, the essays, not being good enough, etc. ?
Hopefully this thread can be a place where we can ask questions and support each other throughout the process!
A little about me: I currently attend UF as a Health Education major and would love to stay here and study at the Gainesville campus, but if I get into the Jacksonville one I will gladly go there! They're also requiring the HESI exam this year and I was wondering if anyone knew any tips and tricks. I've only ever heard of the TEAS! I find it so interesting that this one tests our anatomy/physio knowledge, but also kinda frightening because anatomy at UF was a nightmare for me LOL.
I completely agree with you, ugh. Praying it’s this Friday and the outcome is positive... I can’t be an anxious ball of stress for ANOTHER week ?
My birthday is this Sunday so I'm almost hoping decisions don't come out until next week so my birthday isn't spoiled if I don't get in ? BUT the wait is killing me!

Wait Kianna told you to check the application page? Which one - the one that we submitted our Post Bac app to and when did she tell you to check? Usually decisions are sent out via email so that’s interesting
Hey everyone!! ? I haven't been on here for a while, but good luck!! I'm hoping decisions come out tomorrow - I don't think I will be able to wait another week! From what I've been told they usually send out emails and then it shows up later in the Post-Bac application. I'm not sure if they changed it up recently but the majority of the time it's an email.
You will need the email and password you used to apply to check the status, but nothing has been posted yet. Mine still says that my application has been received and forwarded to CON.
On another note, I did notice yesterday that UF CON has updated the Orientation website to state that Summer 2020 Orientation info is coming soon. Hopefully this means that tomorrow is the day!
I know everyone is on pins and needles awaiting info, but I have found that the more I keep my mind busy, the less anxious I am while I wait. My idle time is currently being taken up by crocheting when I'm not otherwise preoccupied. I have a couple of great nephews on the way, so I am busy making baby blankets for them.
Ahh I really hope we find out tomorrow!! I do not think I will make it through another week of waiting! Also, decisions for regular UF undergrad for incoming freshman come out next Friday so that gives me hope in that maybe they would not want to release the decisions on the same day. I clicked "both" when asked if I wanted to apply to Gainesville or Jacksonville but I really only want Gainesville because I am a current student already living here and would have a roommate lined up if I get in to Gainesville so I really hope I do not get into Jax or I may not go and kind of regret hitting "both" but I wanted all of my options available.
I'm a current student at the Jax campus. I remember being just as jittery and anxious to know the decision this time last year. We (students) haven't heard anything regarding the release date, but hopefully it's this Friday.
If anyone has questions about the program in Jax, I'm happy to help!
