Hi all!
It's pretty early on but I'd love to meet and chat with the potential applicants for this program. I also think it'd be great to have this forum in case we stumble upon application questions and such. Maybe some successful applicants in the past may pop in to say hello as well!
What are your feelings about this program or even UF in general? Are you applying to other programs? Where are you from?
Yes definitely shorter does anyone have any idea on what the essay is, I have a meeting set up with a current UF nursing student who is at the Jacksonville campus she started 2017. I would just get my letter of recommendations he said you upload those on the Nursing Cas website when the application opens
Opening in September is such a short time frame, especially not knowing whether or not we have been accepted as an undergraduate (unless we will definitely know by that time). Did anyone happen to email Kenneth regarding whether or not we need to be accepted first or if we will be able to submit the nursingcas app regardless?
Hi all! Just thought i'd share some info as I spoke to Kenneth today:
Regarding the post bacc. application he mentioned this was a "referral" so it seems we can complete the nursingcas app without hearing back from UF general admissions (and also said they don't hear from gen. admission until February) . He stated that once a decision is made for the program, they use the "referral" to sign off on our status (waiting, rejected, accepted)...But he did say both need to be completed by December 1st.
We also need 2 letters: 1 academic and 1 professional
Also apparently there are no interviews this time around (I thought there was but I guess not)
I didn't ask about essay questions because I don't think he would disclose that info to me.
I hope this helps :-)
Thanks for letting us know. I emailed Kenneth about that a few days ago but he hasn't responded. Also I thought we had to take the TEAS? But once again I'm second guessing myself because I've seen mention regarding the GRE.
I don't remember seeing anything about either one of those on UF's website. The GRE is a graduate school exam so I definitely don't think that's required but I know some schools do require the TEAS. But again I don't remember seeing either for this program. I would definitely ask Kenneth about these things though because I could be wrong.

So I just got off the phone with Kenneth and the application won't open until September 1st and it's still due December 1st and he apologize about not updating website.
