UF Accelerated BSN, Summer 2018

Hi all!

It's pretty early on but I'd love to meet and chat with the potential applicants for this program. I also think it'd be great to have this forum in case we stumble upon application questions and such. Maybe some successful applicants in the past may pop in to say hello as well!

What are your feelings about this program or even UF in general? Are you applying to other programs? Where are you from?

Hi everyone - I've tried contacting Kenneth multiple times over the course of this process to no avail. We would have found out via email today right? Any idea if they are doing multiple rounds of emails? I have other schools waiting for my response but it depends on this acceptance or rejection! Thoughts?

I don't think they are doing multiple emails. I feel like if you didn't get one you most likely didn't make it. :/

for the people who didn't get in did you get an email saying that or did you just know bc you didn't get the acceptance email? I never got an email so I know that means I didn't get in but I thought we still would have received something regarding the decision...

Congrats to those who were accepted!

I got a rejection, but honestly, UNF is my number 1 choice. It would have been nice to get in at UF in case I don't get accepted at UNF, but I'm not really upset in the end. Just means I have to do well on my UNF interview. (Tho I'm also curious if it was my personal statement or the personality test that knocked me out.)

Yeah I got accepted into UF in Gainesville, but UNF and UCF are tied for my number 1 as well. If I get into either I'll be giving up my spot at UF.

You should still receive a rejection email. I think this is something that happened a couple of cycles ago also, in which some folks simply didn't get emails. Try to get in touch with Kenneth, but be aware that it will probably take a bit to get back to you.

Hi everyone! I was accepted yesterday into the Gainesville campus! I am so excited to get to know everyone. It looks like a FB group hasn't been created yet for Gainesville, so I was planning on starting one. FB wants me to add one person other than myself to start the group, would anyone mind sending me their name so I can start it up? Go Gators!

So from what you guys have said, it seems like there have been technical issues in the past with not receiving emails or being able to click on links. I've been trying to get in touch with Kenneth over the course of this application cycle. I've been using the phone number listed on the UF Nursing Contact site. Does anyone have a different number?

I have other schools waiting so if a decision has been made I'd like to know ASAP! From my experience over the past two years with UF Nursing, its been really challenging and frustrating to get in contact with administrators. Thank you!
