Hi all!
It's pretty early on but I'd love to meet and chat with the potential applicants for this program. I also think it'd be great to have this forum in case we stumble upon application questions and such. Maybe some successful applicants in the past may pop in to say hello as well!
What are your feelings about this program or even UF in general? Are you applying to other programs? Where are you from?
My stats at the time was a 3.53 gpa . I am Uf Alumna with internships at UF Shands and volunteerism at the VA hospital in Gainesville and an externship out of state working with maternal-fetal medicine . I spent the year really focusing on improving myself as a applicant for when I reapplied the next time . Now I am more confident in myself . UF evaluates applicants hollistically so it's much more than gpa which is a great thing ! If I get in this time I will be excited but I am just as nervous at this point . I wish everyone the best of luck with their decision . If it's meant to be , it will be ! My weekend will be nerve wrecking í ½í¸
I have been lurking this thread since August 2017 -- and now the time has come -- we are sooo close. Ahh! I had a quick question to anyone that can answer: has anyone found a page that lists UF's NCLEX-RN pass rate? I'm comparing programs right now and I have not found it anywhere on UF's site. (That along with cost of tuition including clinicals, which I hear is supposed to be crazy given there are two summer terms, and financial aid is not offered during summer terms). Anyway, good luck to everyone and I'm crossing fingers. I'm simply resting in the knowledge that what is supposed to happen will happen.
Any older applicants? Also does anyone know how many were invited to take the online assessment? The email had about 280 people on it but someone suggested it was sent out in batches.
I'm an older applicant. I'm 33 and I have a 9 month old baby. Does that count? ^_^ Glad to see that I'm not the only older applicant out there.

According to all nurses.com, the NCLEX pass rate is 89%.

I'm not sure where they came up with that information though. I couldn't find it on UF's website either.
Looks like it's some under 87% for Gainesville for the fourth quarter of 2017.

If you go down to UF's it shows the number who have attempted and the number who passed.

No they didn't . Unfortanely it was so many applicants that they really didn't have time to individualize each denial .
