CNA Sam - yes I will! The only benefit (that I personally see) to other programs is the start date. I would rather start in the summer. Oh well, win some lose some.

Hey... sorry if you have already been asked this... but is there any truth to what people say about how if you got accepted you get a large 8x11 envelope and if you got denied you get a regular size envelope? As we are getting closer to finding out I am starting to get really nervous!

You do get a bigger envelope if you get in....to hold all the forms to fill out, instructions etc. I dunno about being denied. I imagine it probably would be smaller though, yeah.

I just called the College of Nursing and spoke with a woman who told me that decisions will be sent out sometime next month. Does this sound right or do you think there was a misunderstanding?

Hey, ya twodollarbills, I believe that was a misunderstanding. I actually went to the office today and spoke with a knowledgeable person, and they said letters will be mailed out by Wednesday of next week.

oh ok! I wonder if she meant to say "sometime next week" - that makes me feel a lot better, but still a little bummed because I thought for sure that this was the week! haha. thanks for the info.

By the way all,

The person said they will "hopefully" be sent out no later than next Wednesday, which still leaves the possibility that it could be a little longer, so don't be surprised if it does end up being a lil longer.

I thought they would be sent out the end of this week because UF has spring break next week. Administrators take off for break too don't they? Maybe not.

That's what I was thinking. I knew last year some people just went to the nursing office and picked up the letter the last Friday before spring break. I will go try the same thing this Friday afternoon no matter what the results will be.
