UF Accelerated BSN Fall 2012

HI:)

I am an undergraduate student at UCF right now and will soon be graduating with my degree in Psychology. I am applying to UF's Accelerated BSN program for Fall 2012.

My first year of college was brutal! My first semester I made 4 Cs and 1 D. My second semester I made 2 Cs and 3 Fs. I had to retake the 3 classes I failed over the summer and I made 3 Cs. So... it has completely ruined my GPA. It seems like no matter how many As I make it barely brings it up.

But, thankfully UF only considers your most RECENT 60 credit hours towards your GPA. This is so great because my overall GPA is only a 2.6, but by the time I'm done taking classes my most recent 60 credit hours GPA will be around a 3.7-3.8.

Is anyone else suffering from a year of bad grades like me?

I wish every other school only considered your most recent 60 credit hours. UF seems like my only real hope to be accepted, but at the same time it's UF... not the easiest school to get into.

THANKS... I LOVE YOU GUYS! while duke is awesome, its also seriously expensive (esp. since we're both in school) so we are 99% sure we are staying in florida...

@ Gator.Love I'm not a UF student (but I will be in May), we're from CA ( I did my undergrad @ UC Berkeley), but we came here in August for tax law for the hubby.

Perhaps the mail is taking so long because they are sending us PACKETS for admission, not just letters? Haha, TRYING to remain optimistic!

A friend of mine got a rejection letter and she lives in gainesville. I can't check my mail until 430 so I am not sure if I got anything.

@gatorlove your post made me nervous so I had my boyfriend check the mail again :) we have a separate box for large envelopes but nothing in either. Do you know if all are letters or if acceptance means a giant folder?

So it appears our assumption could be correct...now we pray we don't get a letter today?

I am not sure. I guess no news is good news?? Lol.. I am praying a rejection letter is not in my mail box later...

Yea, the only thing I can think of Is that rejection letters either went out first or are faster to mail?

i didn't get anything in miami today either.... but i think i saw the mailman with a uf nursing letter today.. which hopefully does mean that packets take longer.
