HI:)
I am an undergraduate student at UCF right now and will soon be graduating with my degree in Psychology. I am applying to UF's Accelerated BSN program for Fall 2012.
My first year of college was brutal! My first semester I made 4 Cs and 1 D. My second semester I made 2 Cs and 3 Fs. I had to retake the 3 classes I failed over the summer and I made 3 Cs. So... it has completely ruined my GPA. It seems like no matter how many As I make it barely brings it up.
But, thankfully UF only considers your most RECENT 60 credit hours towards your GPA. This is so great because my overall GPA is only a 2.6, but by the time I'm done taking classes my most recent 60 credit hours GPA will be around a 3.7-3.8.
Is anyone else suffering from a year of bad grades like me?
I wish every other school only considered your most recent 60 credit hours. UF seems like my only real hope to be accepted, but at the same time it's UF... not the easiest school to get into.
okay so i just went out to meet the mailman. i live at an apt complex, and he hadn't gotten to my mailbox yet, but he said if i waited a minute he'd tell me because there wasn't much mail. so he flipped through the mail in his hands, and i swear i saw UFnursing envelope (it was a normal small one), and he asked me my name, but it wasnt mine...
so i think we are getting them today, but i think mine will be in miami!
good luck everyone!
they were missing the official copy of my gre scores, I have a letter from the gre people saying I sent them but they got put under my maiden name. So I went in and brought the gre scores that I have) opened of course. SO...this also meant i got a chance to talk to Ken and told him I have to decide about Duke really soon. He said that I will be receiving an admissions packet in the next few days, and that I am accepted, however it is still conditionally because I am still taking pre-reqs this semester, so if I have a C or above in all three classes(definitely), background check, immunizations etc... then yes I am in...!
which is great news!!!! but i want to get the packet before i officially reject Duke, just to be sure :heartbeat:yelclap:
as far as what that means for letters in the mail I have no idea
