2010 - UCSF / Stanford RN Residency Interview?

U.S.A. California

Published

Hey,

I applied for RN residencies at both UCSF and Stanford during the week of May 10th, 2010. I wanted to hear from anyone who has applied to either program AND has been contacted by a recruiter. Or from anyone who knows for certain (i.e., you work there) when theses decisions will be made. I am a fairly strong candidate and would like to believe I am in the running for a position--but who knows really? I will post if and when I hear anything.

Best of luck.

I was invited to a panel interview this coming week, but I am turning it down. I was torn between UCLA and Stanford, so it came down to academics. Stanford offers $1,000/academic year in tuition reimbursement while UCLA offers a 2/3 reduction ($9,422 paid!). Since I'm planning on getting a Masters in the next few years, UCLA it is. Final decision-made! :yeah:

Congrats! I'm glad that you were able to get a the exact job you were looking for :D

westmidwest - i just checked again. It now says "selected for interview"

Have they started there prescreening interviews with a recruiter for Stanford?

Have they found the people for the interviews already or will they still be working on a presecreen interview?

Thanks

Congrats on getting an interview!!! How did it go? The thought of a panel interview makes me nervous. Do you know when you'll hear back or when they will be making offers?

Good luck!
