I wanted to start a thread for the UCSF Residency Program applicants. I recently applied and the application is open until 4/17/2017. These forums give me some piece of mind, Hopefully we can help eachother out!

I was told by a recruiter a few days ago that if we are still being considered, then we would hear something "this month." The last day of this month is tomorrow so I'm officially giving up hope :-(

Thanks for the info @NurseThereseV! How can I find the contact info for the peds recruiter? I only have contact info for a general HR rep.

I found it on a Facebook group called RNInterview Tools. If you have Facebook, request to be added to the group and then search for "UCSF Nurse Residency". It should be the first thing that pops up. Also, check out New Grad RN California! These are great resources for job postings and interview/resume help. If you can't find it, let me know!

On their website I see that it just says to search their jobs website for "RN Residency program" and save the search, which I did in December 2016 but never got notified or anything. Is that how you all found it? I Graduate this December so am interested in applying for 2018.

It sounds like those who created a saved search were not notified for this round, which is too bad (I had one created and wasn't notified, but got a heads up from my nursing school while the application was open). I think the only way to be sure to find the application in the future is to check the website daily. Good luck!

I got a call this morning for pediatric CTCU. You still have hope!

Hey guys. So I reached out this morning to UCSF HR regarding my status because I, like many of you haven't heard anything. Therefore, I'm posting what was told to me in hopes to ease anxiety, doubt, or any other negative feelings that creep up when you've put your life and soul into a job application and are waiting in limbo. Have a great day guys and stay positive and trust that the right position is waiting for you. :-)

"Your resume has been sent for consideration. Our managers are still reviewing resumes for possible interview. We have asked them to interview, reference check and make offers by the end of June/beginning of July. If you do not hear back by that time frame then you were not selected for this program."

Hey everyone, I applied to the L&D unit and had an interview. I made it past the first round and was asked to come back for a staff panel interview, Does anyone have any advice?
