UCSF New Grad Residency Program April 2021

UPDATE: Changes: New Log In Requirement

I just wanted to make sure there was a place to talk about the New Grad Residency Program at UCSF that begins April 2021. Does anyone know how many applications they expect to receive for this cycle? Also, does anyone have insight to which units will open for the October 2021 New Grad cycle?

For those that got interviews did your status change from "under review" to "interview" and how did you receive an invitation email or call? Thanks ?

hi I had an interview today with ICN! they told me we will hear back in the beginning of next week if we made it to the next round to interview with the staff nurses.

I'm from Cali. My apps are under review but I haven't heard back.

I've only heard of people getting interviews from the ICN and/or Med Surg high acuity. I'm curious as well.

They asked all about my NICU capstone experience like what type of patients we saw and they wanted me to walk thru. Typical day. Then they asked about volunteer experience and what evidence based practice project I did my senior year

Congrats!! I hope to get an interview for PICU sometime soon.. how did you feel about the overall interview?

I received a call to interview Thursday and my status didn’t change that day. I haven’t checked to see if it has changed.

Congratulations! Did they ask behavioral questions? I am interviewing for the neuro transitional care unit.

Specializes in Step-down/ED/ICU.

I received an email Friday inviting me to interview on Monday, also for neuro. My status says under review. Don't lose hope, interviews are still going.
