UCSF New Grad Residency Program April 2021

I just wanted to make sure there was a place to talk about the New Grad Residency Program at UCSF that begins April 2021. Does anyone know how many applications they expect to receive for this cycle? Also, does anyone have insight to which units will open for the October 2021 New Grad cycle?

Congrats to you too! I'm not sure how many got to the peer interview stage. Looks like 15 were chosen from their videos. I think one of their emails said there were 6 positions open.  Good luck in your interview! Hope to see you on the other side ?

I got a call for PICU as well! Nervous for this type of format but excited nonetheless!

Has anyone heard from the Pediatric Surgical ICU or the Pediatric Transitional Care Unit? Trying to hold on to some hope ?

I haven't heard of any movement on those two units. Holding on by a tiny shred of hope here=( Fingers crossed for us!

Has anyone heard back today? I interviewed with 11L/12L and was told that decisions would be coming out for this unit today. ?

During my interview, I was told that they'd send out decisions on 2/22.

I remember them saying not to be alarmed if we don’t hear back right away as well they said it could even be by next week too

I had my 2nd interview with the Pediatric Cardiac ICU (which was listed as the Pediatric Surgical ICU on the job posting) today. My CTCU (listed as Pediatric Transitional Care) application hasn't been reviewed yet, it still says "applied".  Maybe they haven't started that search yet and there is still hope! Good luck!
