UCSF New Grad Residency Program April 2021

I just wanted to make sure there was a place to talk about the New Grad Residency Program at UCSF that begins April 2021. Does anyone know how many applications they expect to receive for this cycle? Also, does anyone have insight to which units will open for the October 2021 New Grad cycle?

ICN told my friend they would be making their hiring decisions by tomorrow. ?

But I totally feel you - I interviewed for Lucile packard too, and I’m pretty sure they made hiring decisions but they haven’t rejected me yet so I’m holding on to some hope as well 

 

edit: oh I just saw it is a different unit! Sorry! This is specifically for ICN!

When did your friend interview? I interviewed for ICN on 2/16 and haven’t heard anything yet.

She interviewed last Friday on 2/12. She hasn't heard anything yet but did receive a reference request e-mail today!

I received a call back yesterday for a peer interview with the nurses for the PICU and PCICU. Good luck everyone!

Congrats! I got a peer interview too for PCICU too. Any idea how many candidates they are moving forward with?

I did notice some of the later posted jobs moving forward like Gen Med, Short Stay and ED.
