Listing for the New Nurse Residency Training Program (NNRTP): Registered Nurse Training Programs
Looks like applications open July 30th, and I'm antsy to get my application together after having passed the NCLEX but not getting the Stanford new grad residency ?
According to Spring's cohort (https://allnurses.com/UCSF-new-grad-Spring-t740142/), pay starts at around $72.56. I unfortunately missed the webinar and am not sure where to find a recording. I've emailed them so will be sharing it out if it's available.
Let the commiserating begin~

They set a timer on their screen and will count down to cut you off so you don't go over. Everyone answers question 1 first then everyone answers question 2.
I'm sure they'll be changing up the second question but if you review general nursing interview questions I'm sure you'll be fine ?
How did you feel like it went for you?!

I think overall it went well! It honestly seems like the first round is to vet people out and make sure you know how to be professional before they refer you to specific departments. There's such little time to talk, there's not really any chance for them to get to know you! But, I guess we'll see

Thanks for sharing your experience!! I agree, there's such little time for them to learn about you! This process is so different. By chance, did they mention anything about timeline to hear back?

of course! I turn to these forums for comfort and they've helped me a lot so I'm happy to help others! It was a little confusing because one of them said "over the next 1-2 weeks" but then the other started talking and you know how zoom cancels sound out if there's too much going on. So I'm just going to base it off the email and hope it's by the 12th. Maybe others might have some insight once they're done interviewing?

I really appreciate you sharing this. When you say 1 minute for the first question that includes both your introduction and why UCSF right ?
The intro was short, just mainly focusing on UCSF! The second question was very similar to other nursing related interview questions as someone said earlier. The meeting went about 4-5 minutes over just because of all the candidates having to answer with such limited time. No one was was cut off abruptly.

Good luck everyone!
For question 1 did everyone mostly focus on the "why UCSF" question or did people go into their background too?
