Hi everyone, I just wanted to start this new topic for those like myself who are interested in applying to the MEPN program for the 2020 cohort.

I'm getting really nervous lol. I should be hearing from UC Davis any day now too. Last year they sent their letters the first Monday of November which would be today so basically now through end of December I'm going to be so anxious to hear back!

Would we get an email notification ? Or is it just a mailed letter ?

Oh I meant email letter. I don't think they do regular letters? I'm not sure

Oh good to know ! I keep refreshing my email constantly ... this is nerve wracking!

Last time I received an email at the end of this month. Hopefully decisions come out sooner.

How did you manage to accept your rejection last year and work towards your goal again? What did you do differently? Thanks ??

@Anisap ah! did you interview last year?

@NMtobe No unfortunately............

@Haron717 Not to be a Debbie Downer but I figured I wouldn't get in. But I had the mindset that I was hoping to at least get an interview. So I wasn't too upset about the decision. This time around I revised both my personal history and goal statement, accumulated more volunteer hours in different hospital settings. I also work part-time which has greatly improved my communication and problem solving skills albeit not medical related. I honestly don't think it is enough to gain me an interview/entrance but I am hopeful.

How many people on average get an interview ?

Wow! Wish I would have found this thread sooner. Getting nervous about everything. Good luck to everyone! Are any of you hoping to get into the PNP specialty?

I am from Northern California. I have been thinking about applying to apartments in advance in case I do get in, what area do you guys recommend? I have a son so a kid friendly area would be great!

Guys, I'm getting so nervous! Has anyone heard back?
