Thought I'd start a thread for the new grad program at UCSD for Spring 2017!
Anyone applied so far? What units? Wanted to keep each other updated if we hear anything :)
Did anyone apply for the new grad Onc/BMT position earlier this month? My application is still "Submission Received". Not sure if they haven't been referring them yet or if I didn't target my resume/cover letter well enough. I can't seem to figure out their ATS. I applied for that psych position and was referred but no luck for onc/bmt.

A good friend of mine applied for the BMT position and already interviewed for it... sorry. It's really hard:-/
anyone have any idea how many they interviewed? I also forgot to ask when they were going to get back to us? Did anyone who was interviewed ask this? Thanks!
Sadly-I forgot to ask as well!! And I have no idea when they'll get back to us:(. When did you interview? I interviewed yesterday morning.
Hi Salsacat!I was wondering if you had any tips on the L&D/Postpartum New Grad RN Interview. Is it more behavioral or scenario based questions? Anything will be greatly appreciated!
It was behavioral mostly - for me. No clinical scenarios. And the usual "tell me about yourself" and "why nursing." It didn't last long at all - I don't now if that's good or bad! I also don't know how I did - I didn't perform at my best (I've had better interviews) - I kind of choked I thought - not in an obvious way but I know I'm capable of more. But - I prepared as best I could and if I'm not supposed to be there, and be somewhere else instead, then so be it! I would like to know, however!! When do you interview?
I'm sure your interview went well salsacat! They were stone faced in my interview which I hear is typical for the L&D interview. My interview lasted 30 mn. I felt like there was so much I didn't touch on too and feel like I could've answered better. It's normal to feel like that though after an interview! best of luck!

Adding myself to the list of L&D applicants who got "referred to hiring department" on the 16th and no word since. I'll update if I hear anything!
