UCSD New Grad 2017

Thought I'd start a thread for the new grad program at UCSD for Spring 2017!

Anyone applied so far? What units? Wanted to keep each other updated if we hear anything :)

I'm sure your interview went well salsacat! They were stone faced in my interview which I hear is typical for the L&D interview. My interview lasted 30 mn. I felt like there was so much I didn't touch on too and feel like I could've answered better. It's normal to feel like that though after an interview! best of luck!

thank you for saying about being stone-faced!! That's what kind of deflated me! I was thinking what on earth could I have done to offend already lol... But just one of them was really stone-faced. It's not that she was mean or unkind - just expressionless and that was unnerving in an interview situation. My interview also lasted 30 minutes. It sounds like they were pretty similar! Mine was at 10:30.

Yes- interviewed for both. No updates excepts reference check. Good luck on your interview!!
